I really want to know if I should do AS Chemistry. I found it okay at GCSE, I got an A* and I'm doing these subjects at the minute:

    AS Biology
    AS English Language
    AS Geography
    AS History
    AS Critical Thinking

History would be the one I'd change, I think. I used to love History but I know it's going to be very hard work and I'm not sure I'm prepared for that. I got an A* at GCSE History. Could anyone help?

They are two totally different subjects and both hard in different ways. If your only reason for giving up history is because you don't want to work hard then don't switch. Just keep at it, especially if you enjoyed it at GCSE.

In terms of workload I do believe chemistry has a fair bit less but it is much harder in complexity and understanding it compared to history.
