Didn't do so well in my ISAa, can I still get an A/A*? watch

    • Thread Starter

    In both my Chemistry and Biology ISAs, I didn't do very well, in my opinion (I think I could have done a lot better.)
    In Chemistry I got 76 %. I have done my C1 early and got 100a* and i am pretty confident with everything else, however ISAs are clearly my weak point. My question is, can I still achieve an A or ideally an A* with this ISA grade? Also, what is the rough grade boundary in Chemistry for A/A*?
    Thanks :eek3: :eek3:

    Are you doing Core, Double or Triple Science?

    They are all added out of 400;

    Core science =

    6 (b1a,c1a,p1a,b1b,c1b,p1b) x 50 = 300 + 100 (ISA) = 400 [Core]

    3 (b2, c2, p2 x 100 = 300 + 100 (ISA) = 400 [Double]

    Triple same but only bio for bio , chem for chem, and physics for physics

    I got 78/100 in one ISA and still managed to get an A* overall, so technically it should be possible.

    Well obviously its still possible, but will be harder than if it were higher :confused:

    To get an A* you need 360/400
    If were talking about the same thing i did? :confused:
Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
