Trying to be uber healthy this year so rather than ready meals I want to cook some big-batch meals and freeze them for nights when I'm too tired to cook.

HOWEVER so far the only meals I can think of to do this with are dal (lentil curry) and soup.

I've heard of some people freezing pasta- does this actually work? Any ideas are great please.

Edit- sorry, I should have said- I'm not eating meat at the moment.

Freezing pasta? What would be the point? Stuff to go with it, maybe...

you could freeze a bolognese type thing, and get some quick cook pasta [cooks in a about 5 mins from sainsburys] then just bung these together, thats what i do

I cook a lot of pasta then freeze it in tubs, comes out fine in the microwave.

Can do the same with curry, but I don't add the rice in to be frozen.

You can freeze almost anything as long as its covered so it doesnt get freezer burn. Freezer burn doesnt affect the taste but its not the nicest thing to look at.
