    Ka = [H3o+] [A-]/ [HA]

    AND Kb = [ HA ] [OH-]/ [H3O+]

    and when...
    So KaKb = [H3O+] [OH-] = Kw

    What is the last line supposed to tell me?
    are the disassociation constant of acid and base related?

    It tells you that in any aqueous solution the product of [H+] and [OH-] = 1 x 10-14
