When is the latest that we can declare if we are resitting our summer exams? Is there a deadline? 'cause I thought there was, but my teachers haven't mentioned resists since the first lesson, and that was just briefly. I thought there would be, because there is a resit deadline if you want to resit your January exams, isn't there?

The official awarding body deadline for January entries is 21/Oct.
Your exams officer won't want to do it at the last minute so your school/college internal deadline will be earlier.
Ask your exams officer/teachers for confirmation.

I know this because I've read the information on the Awarding Body and JCQ websites, e.g.
    http://www.jcq.org.uk/attachments/pu...%202010-11.pdf
    http://www.edexcel.com/iwantto/I%20w...220910_WEB.pdf
As I said previously, schools/colleges will set earlier internal deadlines.

4th Oct is the date for GCSE November entries

Your school my have its own internal deadline of the 4th so the examinations officer can get them in on time.
