I have recently started uni and I hate it, i dont feel supported or anything its just not the place for me. I've seeked advice and talked to people at the uni, and they made me feel a millions times worse.

I have enrolled, but I haven't actually paid my fees yet... If I decide to drop out, will I still have to pay back the loan I took out, or will my uni keep the money?

I don't want to be paying back like £10,000 for a degree i aint even done.

    you mean your student loan?

if you havent paid fees then they wont make you pay that back but will have to pay back maintenance loan but you should have that right

You need to act quickly. Don't make any rash decisions, but don't dither either. At my uni, if you drop out more than 4 weeks in to the course you can be charged the full £3290 for the year.

You will need to pay back any maintenance loan/grant you've recieved, but unless you've spent that already that should be easy.

Also, the university can charge you the full years fees, even if you've only attended a few weeks. The thing being, if you withdraw before the 1st December, the SLC will not pay them, and the university will chase you directly for their money.
