    Hi.
i'm 19 and was hoping to take my A levels this year so i looked on my local colleges website and they said i needed 5 C's and above so i applied i got a letter saying they now require four B's and above which i don't have and they still haven't updated their webpage and it's been months. So just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and why the entry to A level has gone up?
    Thanks for any help

Hmmm, probably because they have introduced the new system of awarding A*. So, competition is higher as well.

5 C's is the min however, you would need 4 B's to study the 4 A levels of choice, this has been the same for the past 2 years? however when i say 4 B's i mean like if you did GSCE'S Maths you do any A level releted to that course if you had B or higher
