Just looking for some tips to tone up quickly. Thanks to winter I'm currently at that annoying size 9, where you're not a size 8, but not size 10 and I would like to get back to size 6-8 which is how I was this time last year.
In particular, I was told over the w/e by a certain photographer (works for Roxy!) that my hips were too big! That and my bust.
However with losing weight, I know both can be reduced as I can get down to a D cup (I'm currently DD ) when I'm a size 8, or 6-8 I'm not sure
I bought FatBlaster this morning Any other things I could do, apart from increasing exercise to 6 days per week, instead of 5??
Thanks in advance (some photographers can be soo mean and cruel! ).
My advice is next time someone tells you something like that you should get a pen and stab them in the eye yelling "Do I look fat now huh!" If you want to get more tone pilates is meant to be good, but only do it for you, not some stupid photographer.

Hehe. I don't think I'd get any work with him after that though!!! But I'm sure it would feel good
Pilates sounds cool, a friend has a video regarding this, hmm, I could borrow it...
Well I'd only need to lose half a stone, to a full stone to really achieve this goal, or 5-6 kgs. I'm currently 8 and a half stone
I think the photographer/agency manager was looking for girls around size 7-8 Which I am not right now
You are the perfect weight... stuff those photographiers they know nothing!! I am 8stone but just want to tone up.. not loose weight. My friend does yoga which is meant to be good for that.
Yeah.. surely that would be a size 8 already? Well, depending on how tall you are.. but I weigh more than that (hovering around 9 stone) and am usually an 8 in clothes. Nothing wrong with wanting to lose a bit of weight.. as long as you're doing it for yourself, not for some random photographer.

Thanks! I wish other people thought like you
Anyway yoga sounds interesting, I don't know anybody who does it though Does your friend do this in a group?
I wish more people thought like you! But *apparently* according to certain people, 'they don't sell'
Anyway for the other girls, after I went to the gym this morning I managed to JUST squeeze into my size 8 long skinny jeans, but seeing as there's that annoying bit of 'flab' at the top, I'm really gonna have to hit the treadmill tomorrow!!!
*wonders how she is going to get down to a size 6 (7.5-8 stone) by the end of next month*
Oh well I don't care, I am determined. Yesterday for example, when Neighbours was on, there was no couch for me - it was all pushups and situps whilst watching
I dont think it is possible to just concentrate on one area of your body to tone up. Also, being healthy should be more of a concern than what the tag on your clothing says . . . just my opinion though!

Too troo
God it's so hard NOT to think about food! But I'm making some better choices, for example no more fried foods anymore, boiled only. Skim milk. Choices like that.
And patience! B/c the weight just doesn't drop off, I mean I still weigh the same as I two days ago when I started this thread :/
Relatively thin? Hah. I was classed as underweight for my height and build until I was 13 even though I was about 9 stone and size 12 jeans and now I'm 10 stone, size 14 jeans and you're making me feel fat! To be honest, if you're so neurotic about losing weight then a career in modelling isn't for you. You already sound like you're on the fast track to an eating disorder and general esteem issues.
No you're at the perfect weight, hun You're lucky! I'm 8 and a half, trying to get DOWN to 8 st I'll get there
I've started side-situps now, to add to the usual front ones I do and I've noticed some positive changes so I recommend them.

I only want to lose half a stone, then tone up.
Trust me, I like food so much I'm not capable of having an eating disorder
Anyway so what about low impact cycling? I hear it's toning for the legs, but how long are you meant to ride for? I sometimes ride to uni in the morning but it only takes 20 mins :/ Apparently you're meant to cycle for two hours

I'm about your weight, find that Pilates is great. Buy a DVD and a mat and do it at home. If you can get the MTV Pilates dvd over there i'd recommend it, its well worth it. You sound like the perfect figure to me, size 9 and big boobs?! Some girls have all the luck!
fruits are the way to go,you can pig out on them - well, not stuff like avacado and bannanas but oranges, apples etc - and that'll satisfy your hunger but won't make you put on weight.works fantastically
Danni - Curves are in and skinny is out the window sweetie so don't worry about that silly photographer and if you really just wanna tone up do aerobics in front of the TV or something or maybe yoga ^_^ xoxo
What's your diet like? Of course a good exercise programme alone will do little in comparison to a good exercise programme and a good diet.
I am following Gillian McKeith's (from You Are What You Eat) advice about consuming fresh fruit and vegetables, plus SOME lean, well-cooked meat (for iron Apparently I'm a bit low on that ).
This morning for breakfast, after burning 500 calories on the bikes at the gym, I had a fatblaster tablet and a sustagen.
I have no idea what I'm gonna have for lunch, prolly a tuna salad (hey, this is a lot better than the meat pie plus Sprite I used to have ).
