This! I hate Chinese food. Give me Thai or Japanese any day. For the purposes of the poll i'm gonna vote Indian.

    Two choices? How sheltered.

"Spices like chilli"? Heared of a Korma?

    You're pretty one track minded.

    i agree

i would say pizza would be up there tbh and thats what i would prefer

out of those two sad little choices i would have to choose indian

    1) because i like things hot, the hotter the better

    2) i dont like the way chinese cook their veg, i have to have mine steamed and soft not crunchy

I'm not a takeaway fan tbh. If I had to I'd choose a korma curry.

I was merely interested in how the two most popular Asian cuisines in Britain compared. This isn't supposed to be a 'what's your absolute favourite takeaway' thread (otherwise I'd have Turkish/Moroccan on there).

Indian because every Chinese restaurant (bar one years ago and have no idea where it is ) was revolting, stodgy and oily.

A curry without spice is a bland stew. Man up.
I'm more of a curry man to be honest.

Cold chinese is the king of breakfasts though.

I don't get what's so great about Chinese. I don't mind eating it, but it's never been what I'd call delicious. Acceptable/fairly good at best. I agree with the people who said that it's too sweet as well; I don't like sugar in my dinner, it's just weird.

A good curry is one of life's greatest pleasures, so I voted Indian.

Oh I love aromatic food, I love most herbs and spices, it's just the hot ones I don't like. I genuinely don't see how a burning sensation in the mouth is supposed to be pleasurable

Theres spice and heat, completely different.

If you taste through the heat of certain currys the spice is definitely rewarding.

Chinese - I like more of the menu. I'll only have Chicken Korma from the Indian and it has to be from our local place.
