Nunchaku, just what I was thinking. And they're really simple and cheap to make, if you want to make your own, as well.

Failing that, a six inch metal/hardwood rod. Jammed into the right places, they can completely incapacitate people. Places such as the clavicle, sternum, temple, &c. Best thing is that used properly, they leave no marks or bruises.

I just use my finger, though.

Stun gun or CS spray. Unfortunately you cant buy either in this country so maybe you just need a big knife.

Not that I know of. I just try to do things in the most efficient way. There's no point in breaking someone's legs when you can have them on the floor a lot quicker, just by ramming your middle finger into their clavicle.

I'm more interested in English martial arts, to be honest. I'm currently looking for a hawthorn coppice so I can make a decent quarterstaff.

Fires .45's, only 6.5" long, 10 round mag, and got a 3 dot sight to pop that sucker right in the skull.

Wait, are you not in America?
Overkill. With it being so compact you're gunna get a load of recoil with a .45, making it harder to snap shoot. Bar in mind you're almost certainley not going to have a perfect firing position, you risk injuring yourself. Not to mention that in such a situation a .45 risks over penetration. You wouldn't want to shoot someone on top of you, only for it to go through them and hit your girlfriend or something.

No, for self defense 9mm will almost always be enough. Yes it doesn't have much stopping power, but in all likleyhood 1 bullet will be enough to put off an attacker. Plus, the lower caliber and general ease of handeling will allow multiple shots.

It's stupid that we're not allowed to use pepper spray.

Rape alarm in your pocket, and if you have chance, hairspray in the eyes.
