    I am applying for medicine but as im a gap year student i am applying independently. Initially i wanted to copy and paste into ucas myself but my old college want me to link to them. if i link to them will they be able to see my application, where i have applied to and my academic history i.e my whole application apart from the reference section. i need to know this urgently many thanks

    Do it on your own. I did, as I had a gap year. It had nothing to do with my college.

    The UCAS system has changed and you're no longer to copy and paste anyway. But if your referee wants you to apply through them you can either do that or get a reference elsewhere (or just not apply)

    you can still copy and paste until 5th october. on ucas there is an option that says ask a school to write your reference only. if i choose this will they be able to see my application, where i have applied to and my academic history i.e my whole application apart from the reference section.
