So I've just sent my personal statement to me referee and I THINK it was within the character/line limit. Do you know if I can confirm this based on the uneditable preview I can now see on the UCAS website? If I had gone over the limit, would the preview display where my statement was cut off?

It wouldn't have let you send it off as if it was too long the preview wouldn't work.

As long as it isn't over 47 lines (inc. line spaces) and 4000 characters you will be fine

The preview will tell you if it's too long - the line count there is the definitive one.
