I had it at reading, it was annoying but went away after a couple of days, although it was annoying asking eberyone to repeat almost everything they said.

I wouldn't worry about it. I've had this problem before, and it will go away within a few days, so don't worry
It shall soon disappear. However, if experienced time and time again, it will, with no doubt, leave permenant damage.

Yeah thats normal don't worry...I went to this gig once and i couldnt hear properly for about a week! But its fine now. If it continues, go and see a doctor and they'll sort u out.

It's just tinnitus, you often get it after loud music. Give it a few more days and it should go back to normal. If not, go and see your GP.

yea that's normal, it's when your ears have been submitted to very loud noise. It will go off but it's a sign of damage to your ears so try not to make them ring too much or in time you will notice a difference

Wow that happens to me so often people who know me well tend to shout when they speak to me just in case.
Wear earplugs next time if you really don't like it/are worried about messing up your hearing.

Hi there guys. I have a problem. I went out with some friends last night to a rock club and the music was really really loud. Now i can't hear properly. I wasn't worried because i just thought it'd go away but its been all day now and im panicking. When theres no other noise i have a constant ringing in my ears and when there is noise it sounds slightly muffled and distorted.
Has anyone else has an experiance like this? How long does it take to go away?

Lizzy xx

It really is nothing to worry about i would expect.

When i first went to a proper rock club (Even after several years of Reading Festival) my ears rang for a full 5 days afterwards. It will go away!

No, you really should exercise caution, it only takes a couple of gigs/concerts and your hearing will get really bad 20 years down the line.

Bah, 20 years down the line i expect them to have better hearing medical technology to fix such things!

Yes. It will. But your hearing will also seriously deteriorate when you're older.

Hmm, it costs a grand now for a decent, digital hearing aid, and even then it's not perfect. Your hearing isn't worth a few gigs.

my hearing is worth my enjoyment. Id rather go to all these gigs and have a great time now then not bother and be boring.
