    I've lost another lb.

How many times a week does everyone go to the gym?

Hey can I join? I will post my stats later.

Have been reading the thread for a while... I also want to get into doing triathlons. Went for my first open water swim in a non-heated outside pool today. It was so cold... I could only swim 60m and I couldn't even put my head under cos when I did my heart/body seemed to want to have a spasm... I can swim a mile in indoor pools/warm seas... Rubbish!

Aww. I've done a bit of open water.
I think maybe you should try a wetsuit. Also, try it a bit closer to summer!
Yeah, it's kinda cold at first, but I always use that as a reason to swim faster. After a couple of minutes, you do get used to it.
But some people have really low tolerance to cold water. Like, when the heating at our local pool broke, they still let the club in. We got in to train one morning and it was freezing cold, so we were given the option to get out and one girl couldn't even do two lengths, simply because she really couldn't stand the cold, whereas others were in nearly an hour. I think it's a personal thing.

None at the moment for me however as soon as the leaners support fund comes through for my travel costs, i will have gym money spare and will be going six days per week as i did during the spring (lost 15lb), three days cardio and three days strength to get "the" body.

How soon can we actually see results if we go jog-walking three times a week and squats + lunges on alternate days?

It is admirable to have goals, however you must understand given your not even 10 stone at 18 your body frame is clearly very small and ectomorphic - there will be a massive limit to what you can achive weight wise.

Today is going to be a bad bad diet wise, I've been really hungry all morning. I only have healthy food to snack on but I'm going shopping later... Shopping whilst hungry is dangerous...

Also, Rossshaw, you make me feel fat
