Okay so basically I've hit a wall with my personal statement for these subjects, and I just want to get some different ideas and opinions to inspire me with what to write! I'm trying to link the two subjects together, and while that's easy enough to do in a more general sense, it's hard to do when relating to specific topics. I'm trying to explain what it is about religion, ethics and politics that is so fascinating to me, and why they link to studying literature, but my mind has just gone blank. So to those applying/who have applied for Philosophy, how would you explain the importance of these areas without sounding too preachy and repetitive? Just to clarify I'm not looking to copy anyone's ideas here; just need a soundboard for my own ideas really! Cheers for any advice
