It is a fact of life:

As technology advances and human beings adapt to the modern way of living, individuals become less dependant on others.

Conclusion: After some time, girls won't need boys, boys won't need girls.
I just want some company and intellegent conversation from time to time. Is that too much to ask?

I agree with both noofruit and killerbee. Company that I enjoy, intelligent conversation and sex are all I need from a guy right now.
oh nothing much, just to feel loved *aww going all slushy!*
company and to feel loved and be there  :p:
"make a perfect boyfriend?" maybe u do want advances in technology...

you wont "make" one, he either wont change how he is, or will do to please you but then resent you for it, or hold it against you, neither will make for a good relationship if you've already had problems...and related to that, why are you trying again if it didnt work?

from a guys point of view: id like some1 who i just found talking to+being around really easy, and u can have both intelligent converstaions and conversations about complete rubbish/nonsense...just company, then somebody who loved me for me, and sex is a bonus/fact of being in a relationship...

agreed 100%. i also think boys and girls will always need eachother on that sort of level even as technology progresses.

This is really true, relationships are strange things that cannot really be explained they either work or they don't. People should just except people the way they are

A perfect boyfriend imo is a guy who can be there for me when I cry, and make me feel loved, and someone who I can rely on, who doesn't always want to prove that they're right, and is open minded about things like music, taste in food, religion, careers, etc. Someone who is a bit of a romantic, and spontaneous.

Having said that, love isn't about following rules, because you can't plan it out. I can't really tell you and your boyfriend what you should do to make it work... I think both of you are the only people who know the answer to that.
The perfect boyfriend is a figment of the imagination. I find that a lot of women are after something that just doesn't exist (reminds me of the joke about the husband superstore).
Someone who'll have an argument.
Someone who is extremely good looking.
Someone who makes me laugh.
Someone with a hot body.
Someone who dresses well.
Someone who is intelligent and I can have a conversation with.
Someone who is compassionate
And someone who is passionate

I don't ask for much, I know.

Most definitely. *all flustered*

Ahem, just someone to be there for you, someone you have a connection with, who you could eventually see becoming a best friend. Pas très compliqué.
