    No. You can probably retake some GCSEs at college. How bad were your grades? If you have at least got C's in the key subjects (esp English and Maths) then it would be better to put your energy into showing improvement with A levels, as that will be more impressive to universities.

    my grades were so bad that when i went to a college they said i couldnt even do retakes, i didnt even take english in school due to lack of coursework
