Hazel Blears caught saying that Labour Party did "wicked and malicious" thing in gov Watch

    Well, this is fairly weird.

Firstly, she tried to cynically fib - denying that she said this, accusing the presenter of having 'a dodgy transcript'

Then she was played the audio recording, caught red (Ed) handed.

I can't even understand what she was trying to say or imply, really. The only clear and explicit statement that she thinks that she thinks that Ed Miliband is a 'blank sheet of paper'.

    What is she talking about?

Oh for god's sake. She didn't describe Labour as wicked and malicious. She described some of the internal events that went on in the party as wicked and malicious...there's a big difference. She was probably talking about all the in-fighting between Camp Blair and Camp Brown, and although I think her language was a bit strong, she is very much right. We need to be united under Ed, not divided like we were under Tony.

Poor grammar aside, lolz, suggesting that another poster should be the victim of violence, deadly violence at that, isn't nice.

That was quite possibly the best QT ever.

I love it when any of the Labour women front-benchers go on there, they all end up completely and utterly humiliated.

Blair was the only good leader Labour has had for years.

She did say "our party" and so she was referring to her party; the Labour Party. She is also equating Ed Milliband with the old, as opposed to "the new" which she mentioned in the clip. So, it's still Nu Labour with the Millibands afterall, then?

It made me laugh that she blatantly tried to say that she was talking about the Tories on The Daily Politics, and then they managed to get an audio recording of the convo.

Also, she was saying that internal labour stuff was 'wicked and malicious' rather than what they did as a goverment.

Don't get me wrong I'm no fan of Labour, but not always, and sometimes it's because the audience are dumb and the panel is *******. Dianne Abbhot talked a lot of sense the other day and does a good job. Starkey talked pompous crap and the actor talked more sense than many of them.

This is the problem with all woman shortlists, you get completely incompetent women who shouldn't be running a shop let alone a country. The only Labour women I had any respect for were Mo and claire short. The rest were rubbish and a walking advertisement against all women shortlists.
