    Agree about the weird and wonderful specimens that are a large proportion of jobcentreplus clients... in spite of the rhetoric about forcing people to work I can't see how how the government could persuade employers to let some of them on their property tbh. They're getting paid for signing their name once a fortnight at the JC but the government still has to employ security guards to stop them tearing the place up.

    The chairs are specially designed to fall apart if you try pick them up.

    staff are reasonable enough, the job points find me vacancies in aberdeen when I ask for manchester.

    Which chairs? Ours are designed to be too heavy to throw, but we can lift them without them ending up in bits!

    I tried to move one so I was facing the person I was talking to - but pulling upward on the sturdy looking plastic armrests, they just slid off the rest of the chair and came off in my hands.

    Just as quickly and with no damage done they slid back onto their chair pipes while the clerk rolled his eyes at me.

    What can I say - I'm used to normal chairs for normal people like you'd find at a place of employment or work.
