Hi. I'm currently studying NVQ Level 3 Accounting and for some reason A level students think that they are better than me, just because I CHOSE to do this course? Don't get me wrong, some of these NVQs are just bull, like hairdressing, ect... But in secondary school, I had (not exagerating) all A*s in my GCSEs! How are these people such divs?

Because NVQ stands for "not very qualified"

I don't know why, considering NVQs are more based on skills that are required in the workplace. Don't listen to 'em.

Just saying, why did you choose an NVQ over A levels if you got all A*s...?

Because with your A*s you most likely could've done a maths degree and then went on to get an accounting graduate placement with a FTSE100 or FTSE250 company. That is why.

Who cares if some A level students look down on them? I don't.
Maybe it's because IB students keep looking down at A level students.
