    starting uni on monday, wondering if i'm going to be given my timetable straight away or a temporary timetable for the first couple of weeks?

    what usually happens with this kind of thing?

    I did in my first week of first year - it was mostly introductory lectures rather than the actual classes themselves.

    OP, we can't know because these thing differ from uni to uni and course to course. Just make sure that you find out on Monday so that you don't miss any classes. You'll be fine, good luck with it

    a friend of mine that went to a different uni was given a temporary timetable when he started, for during freshers
