considering they don't interview in all subjects, the answer to your question is yes. I know people who got offers for economics, maths and history without an interview.

and how can we judge our personal statements out of 10?

I can't answer all those questions because half of them I cant even remember. But yes, I received an offer for maths at UCL without interview. My offer was on the lower end of their threshold too.

Hi. I received such an offer for L100 Economics. I am starting in the Fall of 2011, having deferred for a year.

    Course: L100 BSc Economics
    GCSE Grades: 5 A*s, 3 A's 2B's
    AS-Grades: 4A's
A2-Grades: 3A's and 1 B (Economics, Maths, English Lit and History)
Relevant work experience: Some internships, one at Habib Bank.
    Strength of PS; 1-10: 8
Application after A2 grades or before: Before
    Feedback/reaction: Acceptance.

I am from Pakistan, an international student. I went to St Anthony's HS, Lahore. A large part of my application appeal was probably my sports aspect. I hold almost every cricket record at my school, and remain the only pupil (ever) to score back to back hundreds in a season.

I hope UCL has a cricket team.

Okay, more specifically, anybody got an Engineering offer before interview?

Also, college tutors or uni feedback for PS?
