Haven't done Bio myself, but as a Physics major I can't stand Bio students (professionally, I have plenty of friends in Bio but I can't talk science with them). They don't really understand what they're doing and just kinda follow their little formulas with no thought towards mechanism. They just ignore the most important question constantly: "Why is it happening the way it is?"

    My thoughts exactly

However, Biology is most certainly not a mickey-mouse subject.

Well it is just applied chemistry.

But anyway what kind of a moron tries to argue it is mickey mouse? How is any science subject mickey mouse?

It's safe to say that your teacher should be committed rather than come into work on Monday.

I don't even do biology, but I've seen what it involves and I can hardly believe that it'd be counted as a 'mickey mouse' subject. I thought it'd be quite respected, especially if you wanted a job in medicine or something?
