we're doin it for coursewprk an i have no idea what the hell to do!!! has anyone else done it? please help.... otherwise i think i shall cry...

Choose around 25 boys, 25 girls at ramdon from your list, discounting any stupid results (80000kg for example). Explain how you chose your sample, (say you used a special mode on the calculator which can do it, even if you just used the end of your pencil to pick them). Plot some scatter graphs, with some explanations of Height against Weight. Then calculate the 'standard deviation' of the results for each boys and girls. Sorry, can't remember standard deviation's formular, but your teacher should tell you. It's pretty easy really. Make some more comparisons, maybe some box/whisker diagrams, and you're done. That's what I did for this exact coursework (only a practice one) and got close to full marks. Good luck!
