Would you drink a can of Redbull 30 minutes before your University interview?

    ----

    Positive effects:

    -Sharpen your senses?

    Negative effects:

    -Too hyper?

    ----

I'm referring in particular to oxbridge interviews, where they tend to grill you hard on your subject.

    Don't you dare lol

Just get plenty of sleep, have a light breakfast and you'll be fine. Red bull could ruin your concentration anyway

Plus, to my mind, there's a risk of an 'inbetweeners' type situation arising...

Definitely a good idea. Also, chew a load of gum before you go in (supposedly, fresh breath makes you feel naturally more confident).

Nope - do your pre-reading, get a decent night's sleep and take a few deep breaths instead.

It might make you too hyper. You should balance things out by making the Red Bull a jaegerbomb.

Not a good idea if you're already nervous. Stimulants act as laxatives.

Or maybe a can of coke instead? It definitely won't make you hyper but it may help your nerves. It has less than half the caffeine according to this. Look at the mg of caffeine.

So what I'm saying is don't have red bull, drink a can of coke.

It depends. Do you USUALLY start your days with caffeine? If you do, then I say drink that Red Bull because one thing worse than looking a little fidgety is coming across as suffering from withdrawal.
