That's right, folks, Christmas is but 2 months and 23 days away now! :eek3: Having just this week made plans for a week of Yuletide joy infused events with my friends, I thought it a good idea to see what you guys are hoping to do this year!

Chip in your thoughts: what are you hoping to get? Are you planning a holiday? What's your favourite seasonal dish? Do you have a lucky Father Christmas hat that you stole from a tramp? Have you ever had too much sherry and woken up the next day next to a reindeer? Share all, let's start the celebrations for the most wonderful time of the year! :woo: :woo: :woo:

Ho-ho-hope to get lots of replies!

It's Christmastime, there's no need to be afraid
At Christmastime, we let in light and we banish shade
And in our world of plenty we can spread a smile of joy
Throw your arms around the world at Christmastime
But say a prayer, Pray for the other ones
At Christmastime it's hard, but when you're having fun
There's a world outside your window
And it's a world of dread and fear
    Where the only water flowing
Is the bitter sting of tears
And the Christmas bells that ring there are the clanging chimes of doom
Well tonight thank God it's them instead of you
And there won't be snow in Africa this Christmastime
The greatest gift they'll get this year is life
    Where nothing ever grows
    No rain nor rivers flow
Do they know it's Christmastime at all?

    Nice tune that.
Anyways, YEAHHHHHHHH CHRISTMAS! pretty soon in my book as i always over exaggerate, 10 minutes= 5 years. BUT YES plans----LONDON EXTRAVAGANZA, CAMBRIDGE andddddddddd CHRISTMAS PARTAAAYYY!

Not there yet, still got another week before we move in! I'm planning to hit the shops in the last week of November and buy as many tacky Christmas decs as possible so my room looks like a Santa's grotto as soon as Advent starts :awesome:

It is much to early to think about Christmas, I don't even start shopping until the end of November at the very earliest. I haven't even dug my christmas tree out if my parents attic in order to transport it to my new flat yet.

Fair comment. I myself don't usually get into the swing of things until the start of December (I'm superstitious about listening to Christmas songs before then, don't ask why), but my newly formed plans have got me into the spirit a tad, granted extremely prematurely. Ho-hum!
