Southampton Solent made me an offer subject to me achieving a pass for my access diploma, but also stated grade C or above in GCSE English and Maths which I already have. Why have they stated it again?

I think ununpentium its just their specific entry requirements for that degree. They most probably aware you have the stated GCSESs already but universities from my experience most always state that you have to pass a certain course as well as have to meet GCSE requirements as well if that makes any sense to u

    University of Stirling
    University of Keele

    Bangor University

Just wish I'd worked harder/had some decent teachers and I'm pretty sure I'd be going somewhere completely different (and better)

Out of curiosity, why is it that everyone seems obsessed with track? I've been on it a couple times but there's not mch you can do apart from re-read your application and uni choices.

I got an offer from soton university a couple days ago. I didn't need to look at track to find out as they e-mailed me saying something had changed on my application. So I logged in and alas, a conditional offer!

So if they e-mail you whenever something changes, why bother checking it manually every hour?!

Because they only send emails twice a day, so you could have an offer and not be emailed for a few hours

Edinburgh is easier to get in to for internationals than for UK applicants. I think last year basically all the Americans on TSR who applied got offers. As long as your qualifications are decent, if you're American you can probably expect an offer.
