Just to say, went to see it, is gorgeous, huge big buildings, new accommodation is great, lovely campus, but it is not really in London, its in Egham which is actually a pretty small town. A girl who took us on the tour said its just a little high street but can get into London in around half an hour probably.
Lush It's awkward for me to travel to or around London, especially by car; my dad travels a lot and he said it can go badly wrong if there's heavy traffic or something, which is why it's going to be at least a day trip for me, I think, haha. (:

That's good to hear that Egham is a small town, that's what I'm used to really! Thanks so much for the info. I've actually heard a surprising amount of negative comments about Royal Holloway, though on closer inspection most seem to be people with unrealistic expectations of things.

Sorry to ruin this Decisions Thread with random discussion, I'll disappear now.

    Date Application sent: 5th November
    Decision: Conditional
Offer conditions: 320 Points from 3 A levels and 1 AS
Your reaction: Speedy offer! Very Happy! :yeah:
Hi in your email did it say "from 4 alevels"
or did it specifically say "from 3 alevels plus one AS"

because I got the same offer- but for 4 Alevels (I am submitting 4)
and I'm unsure what that implies

It means that you can't drop one of those A levels - you said you were going to do four and your offer is based on the assumption that you will stick to that commitment.

    Hi there,

I got an offer today providing I met the following conditions -
This offer is subject to you obtaining:
    GCE A level
    Grades AAB
*a pass in the Welsh Baccalaureate Core will be acceptable in lieu of the A grade at GCE A Level

Does this mean that I can get an B in any of my three subjects? No subjects are specified. Also if I fail my WBQ will I still be accepted? Thanks!

    Just need some clarification.
