When you said "just a mix of flashdance and MC Hammer Sh*t" then did that memorable dance on red nose day.

I agree, possibly excluding series one. Series two however, and those proceeding were a triumph.

The Lord Flashheart episode is just hilarious...

"Thanks, Bridesmaid. Like the beard. Gives me something to hang on to." - Flashheart

And I shall leave you with a song...

So Flashheart tweaked the Adders beard,
From now he always shall be single.
To fall in love with boys is weird,
especially boys without a tingle.

Blackadder, Blackadder.
His taste is rather odd.
Blackadder, Blackadder,
The randy little sod.

Lord Flashheart, Lord Flashheart,
I wish you were the star.
Lord Flashheart, Lord Flashheart,
You're sexier by far.

I believe these are the ones mentioned in the Best Sitcom of All Time programme aired a week ago which people are voting for at the moment.

The Office was in the low 20s I believe?

the list was decided in the summer and the office went largely forgotten- had it been done now i think it would have definately been top 10.

i want blackadder- i can't stand fawlty towers

The office only appeals to a certain type of person though, not everyone finds it funny. You either find it hilarious or think it's stupid. Like marmite. I personally love it. It's not like those mainstream comedies that try to please everyone. So yeah, my vote is with The Office.

Here are the comedy programmes that finished from 11-25 and just missed out on the top ten:

11Father Ted More
12 Keeping Up Appearances
13 'Allo 'Allo!
14 Last of the Summer Wine
15 Steptoe and Son
16 Men Behaving Badly
17 Absolutely Fabulous
18 Red Dwarf
19 The Royle Family
20 Are You Being Served?
21 To the Manor Born
22 Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em
23 The Likely Lads
24 My Family
25 The Office

Personally, I think The Office and Some Mothers Do 'ave em should be in the top ten.

Pah at Desmonds (maybe some of you people are a bit young to remember that? seems like ages ago it was last on) not making the top10, and at Father Ted missing narrowly...

so it's got to be Yes, Minister/ Yes, Prime Minister

Alaric.

Blackadder or fawlty towers should win, but im disappointed of the placings of the sitcoms that are darker in humour such as alan partridge or league of gentlemen.

Also good as well. What about Mr. Bean? Why isn't he on it?
