They've invented this new thing called friendship, if you've got plenty of things in common, why not try it out? It might not work, admittedly, because it's new and not many people know how to deal with this friendship malarkey. If you're still in touch in a few years, maybe it could turn into something more.

LOL. Haha yeah I have no issue being friends with him either, I probably worded my OP wrong, I mean like what should I say to him? I can't just be like "Hi...I'm that randomer you spoke to for a few minutes earlier...whatsup?" can I? :p:

Erm, didn't you meet him on a group? Don't you have plenty of things in common? Is there anything in his profile that you found interesting or funny? How about a 'hi, thanks for adding me. How are you/what are you up to/how's uni going?'.
    Just be normal! :dontknow:

"Hi, I'm 16, single and I just added you because I think you're hot", guarantee you'll get some kind of response.

Shouldn't have added him then! Now you have, why not just leave it then and wait for a natural opportunity to chat to him e.g. he posts an interesting status? Is he the first person you've ever added on Facebook?

Kind of, usually, people add me, in which case, I usually write on their wall "Hey, thanks for the add! xx" which starts a conversation. But since I added him, it's harder! Plus he's attractive, which means it's worse if it goes wrong than if it's some random friend of a friend lol.

Don't be bloody stupid. Him being attractive does not make him more important than another person you've added.

Haha that came out wrong, I mean he's attractive and I actually quite like him, meaning it's worse for me if it goes wrong, whereas if it's some random lad who adds me who thinks I'm attractive and is starting all the conversations, it's one hell of a lot easier!

How big a problem it is if you screw things up with someone is directly and solely dictated by how attractive they look?

Lmao you're all acting like I'm being really shallow, why is it wrong not to want to mess it up with an attractive guy? :p:

Every thread you create makes me dislike you more! Oh dear god. It's pretty weird to add people on Facebook you don't know in real life, too.

Beware of who you add and accept friends requests from, you do not know whether or not "Joe Bloggs" has malicious intent or not, especially with your profile information and imagery.

It's not that, it's that you're insinuating that this guy is worth more because he's hot, and that people who aren't hot are unimportant and disposable.

P.S. Off-topic, but aren't you the same person I spoke to a few weeks ago who literally won't leave their house unless they're fully made up and beautified?

No no it's not that, but you feel more annoyed if you fall out with someone you're attracted to, than a random person, surely?

LOL yes, I didn't realise you spoke to me in that. You probably think I'm a completely shallow berk then, don't you? :p:
