my mate had one and said it was crap, he had to supply essays to get credits to access the site

Basically its a site which people use to cheat on coursework by downloading other peoples work and handing it in as their own.

I wouldn't use it, myself.

Reasons not to:
(1) It costs.
(2) The previews of the pieces of coursework that are available look rubbish.
(3) It is cheating.
(4) By completing your own coursework it will help you to reinforce the principles you have been learning (act as revision). YOu don't get this when you copy and paste.

Reasons to:
(1) No work required.

Erm, not quite. You can either submit documents to gain free access, OR pay a one off (or monthly) fee.

Again, its not like that at all =) Its aimed to GUIDE you. The UK examing boards
have an advanced system, which can spot that kind of thing from a mile away (see the detailed page on Plagiarism). Simply claiming it as "your own" would not only be stupid... but it could also ruin your other exam results

Cheers

If you're desperate just write three 500 word science courseworks or something and submit them in return for a few days or whatever it is they offer. You don't have to pay for it.

i signed up for coursework.info during my first AS year (dropped out in january then went back last september) and found it quite useful, esp as i was doing english and you actually get marks for commenting on what others have said - even if just referring to other students! it can be used for wider reading for other subjects as well and to get a well rounded view on a topic with which you can then write your own essay.. so if you are capable of doing that then it is worth the 20 squid annual fee but if just using to 'cheat', dont bother.

just wondering why you drop out in jan and re did your AS in september?
