# help on C1 QUESTION plz watch

1. Outdated
2. First step: find the location of point S.

Can you do that?

Hint: simultaneous equations
3. (Original post by bull3tkid-ark)
The lines y=x-5 and y=3x-13 intersect at the point S. The point T has coordinates (-4,2). Find the equation of the line that passes through the points S and T.

PLEASE HELPP!! D=

STEP BY STEP.
if they intersect at S you want to merge the equations together.

1st step. x-5 = 3x-13 .... from here solve x, then solve y then you can simply use c1 equations to find the gradient and write the equation.

im not gonna do it for you but ive pretty much given the game away

oh and Mr. M (YOUR A LEGEND) ... sorry just thought i needed to say that. you may not remember me but we've been a long way back in terms of OCR exam markschemes, right after the exam haha! cheers
