I know the feeling. But I'd take a lot. They seem to want them for just about everything. And lets face it, I doubt you'll fancy going off on a rekkie into the middle of York to find a booth.

it probably depends on your course, I'm doing joint honours so I need some for each department. I think you need to hand some into your college too. Maybe you should just take any spare ones you have and get more done when u get there if you need them. Rach x

I know they are providing booths on campus (made me chuckle thinking of the lines of embarrassed people lining up)

I think I need two for registrating somewhere (completely forgotten right now)

And one more for the AU membership thang

And i have three left..do i really need to get more??

I know its the sensible thing to do, but i seriously couldnt be less arsed..

You'll need one for an NUS card if you want to get one.

The way i see it. I cannot be bothered.

Just don't bother and if you REALLY need them get them done on campus

2 for your college (although it might be 1, the porters keep it to make sure you are who you say you are)
1 for your NUS card
1 for AU card
Possibly 1 for your department (although with Physics we had them taken by the department by a professional)

What's AU?

Yes. You will need another photo for that. Not sure about UCAS cards... Do they need a photo or do you get one done for that?

Anyway, I am down to two photos, so will be getting at least one more set before I head out.

you should just print off suitable ones from ur pc onto glossy paper!! im all about saving money!

You'll need at least twice as many as you have!

If you're planning on joining any societies they may want one and you should already have sent off loads.
