You may familiar with some of his other songs: I'm Bo Yo, New Math, I went to Catholic school etc. his stand up is brilliant. He's still a teenager but his stuff completely outsmarts any other parody singer/comedian out there including the vastly over rated Tim Minchin.

That was poor.

Tim Minchin is highly rated because he's an incredibly talented pianist and singer, and to top it off he's pretty funny too.

This guy raps badly, and isn't very funny. I would suggest that he doesn't own Tim Minchin in any imaginable way.

No he isn't, Bo Burnham is far more witty, fast and more humorous than any of Tim Minchin's work. Name one of Minchin's works that comes close to these live performances:

As my sig shows, I'm sort of a Tim Michin fan...

But I love Bo Burnham too. They're not quite the same - I'd say Minchin's stuff is cleverer on the whole, and a lot better musically. Overall though Bo is the funnier of the two IMO, or at least his songs are mostly better

No, that was slow, dull and unimaginative. He's basically saying what 2/3 of TSR say everyday so I can see why you'd like that. Science has contributed infinitely more than homeopathy and whatnot but this isn't exactly groundbreaking or controversial? There was about 5 punchlines I found funny in 10mins which isn't great either. This on the other hand: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_Dzgc6U1-M (read the lyrics in description) about Bo Burnham's time spent sitting in a Catholic church listening to the priest droning on is incredible. Minchin could never perform at this pace or with the same concentration of wit in his verses.

This argument is so redundant, Bo Burnham (who I think is brilliant by the way) actually names Tim Minchin as one of his inspirations on his own facebook page, "some of you may have heard me talk about tim before. a brilliant pianist and songwriter - to put it most eloquently, and i honestly believe this - he kind of does what i do except he does it 100 times better than i do it." and I'm sure Minchin would be equally praising of Bo.
Seriously, what is the point in arguing over who is best between two very talented and intelligent comedians when you can just enjoy both?

Obviously Bo is not going to say he's better than a guy who's currently doing bigger shows than him and has been doing a similar set up for much longer than he has. His wordplay is ten times better than Minchin's and the general quality of the music as well even if it wasn't satirical it'd be a nice listen whereas Tim's is nothing withou the "jokes". Also factor in Bo's age and there's a clear winner.
