removing a mole

i had one on my back which was quite sore so i booked an appointment with the nurse/doctor (took 2months! :eek:

) and i got it removed last week. The numbed it first by putting a local antesetic (sp) through the mole and literally just scrapped/cut it off. Apparently it gives a horrible smell off lol Because its old skin, it will be sore after the antesetic (sp) wheres off and a scab forms. And the scab will then come off by itself and a tiny weeny scare is left
At my GP they didnt really care what reason you wanted it off, just make an appointment and voila :p:

I had one removed from my back, local anasthetic and then cut out and stitched.

My advice would be (and i dont think anyone has mentioned it) is don't play sport for a few days after. I ignored the advice given, played football because I had to and the stitching opened leaving me with a nice scar. Anyone who see's the scar thinks I have been shot. I obviously just let them beleive it. :p:

its not big at all really just raised which does make it the biggest mole i have. A few times i've scratched it with my watch and my god that freaks me out, i go all sensitive and shiver and all that... :redface:

yeah, thats totaly right, when you scratch it, it just freaks out, the same with me, I have another mole on my neck, just behind, so sometimes when I brush my hair I hurt it...and that mole, that I am planning to removie (not myself for sure) on my belly, I scratched it once with a ring, and it bleeded...I got sceread... :frown:
