We all know what you're worried about........blowjobs will be fine. Just stick a test tube over your dick.

lol you dont need to go that far just to give blow jobs.. i mean with or without braces its gonna be fine

Reply 22

I really don't get how braces would make any difference to blow jobs..guess it depends on technique.. anyway let's move on from that point!

If you love her (not saying that you should do necessarily, but if you feel you do), then even if she gets less attractive surely you'll still want to be with her? Like if my boyfriend got an enormous spot which stayed for ages or something. Surely her teeth aren't too hot now anyway? Braces, in my opinion, are barely noticable usually. After a month of her having them I doubt you'll even notice! Plus, even after the first few weeks there'll be a dramatic change in her teeth, you'll see how nice it's gonna look and the brace will look better on straighter front teeth.

I'm sure it'll be fiiiine, if this still really bothers you after getting used to it then break up with her - it's only fair on her really.

don't worry when you first get them they usually look really bad but as time goes on you get used to them and also the teeth become straighter so its prettier

erm...im getting braces on monday and im absolutely terrified that it'll be a total turnoff for guys. :frown: I don't know what it's like over there, but in the united states like 1 out of every 5 teenagers has braces, so i guess it's not THAT big of a deal, but still...Do braces pose as a problem when it comes to kissing?

i miss my braces! i used to love them! believe me its worth getting them. my teeth wernt even that bad before but the day i had the braces off i cudnt believe it. they wer perfect! as far as kissing is concerned there is absolutely no difference. you dont notice them after a short while. i had to remind my friends that i used to have them bcoz they got used to it. bit of advice though; brush your teeth thoroughly bcoz it makes the end result even better

Ok this week my gf has had braces fitted, which she has to wear for 1.5 yrs, i've been supportive of her telling her it'll be fine. But today is the first day I'll of seen her with them on, i'm a bit worried that its gonna be a turn off? :frown:

No worries man, braces, eh?

Not as bad as dentures.

Reply 33

If you're 24, why are you worried about what she looks like? That's kid stuff.

Reply 34

I can't really be bothered to read the whole thread, but basically she need some support. She isn't exactly gonna be happy about the braces so tell her they won't make any difference! If you think they will make a difference, then I really don't think it's her with the problem  You're just going to have to reassure her that she's still as fab as she always has been, and it'll be worth it in years to come

Braces didnt put guys off in my experience, i learnt to love mine and cried when i had them taken off. Just think if you really like this girl and can see a future together, think how gorge her teeth are going to look when she has them taken off, sometimes it isnt even a year and a half, mine were only on 8 months! If you're even thinking about ending it because of such a superficial thing maybe she isnt the right girl for you in the first place?

And you wouldn't be at all concerned about a chunk of metal being clamped inside your other halfs gob?

have you ever had braces? a great proportion of people i know have had them at some stage and they really don't impact much on either of the people or their bfs etc. unless its a head brace it shouldn't really make too much visual difference. this is rather shallow, but i expect you'll get used to them and find there's nothing to worry about

Reply 37

As long as she knows how to change her smile to hide them, people with braces don't look any different to without. And trust me, she'll probably have spent the last few days working out that smile - it's the first thing I did when I had them.

Also, be supportive of her, she will probably be really worried too that you'll find them a turn off. If they do affect you, concentrate on another aspect of her. :p:

If your boyfriend is sneaky, he'll sit on a really powerful magnet. You happen to put your head anywhere in the vacinity of his crotch and... bingo.
