I havn't applied to Aberdeen but I applied to Edinburgh and got an unconditional a few days ago. And yes it is different to English law - but you can do a conversion to English law after which takes 3-4 months I have been told. If you want to practise as a solicitor or a barriser in England or Wales ur best option is really to do law at an English uni - they told us that at the Edinburgh open day.
