I'm British. But then aren't most or all prejudices are nonetheless irrational? Personally I think the Scottish national anthem is irrational but there you go.

i don't think that we are as different from each other, most prejudices are based upon a few persons actions (and then spread) cause they are the ones we notice.

Depends on what you define as a rational reason to dislike someone i suppose. Many former POWs hate the Japanese/Germans

Are you really stupid? You can't have a debate about your prejudice, because a prejudice is not exactly open for suggestion. It's irrational.

Well people have them, and they form them because of their experiences.....just wondered what anybody elses views on the tension between the two nations are- I'm afraid they distinctly displease me in a way that the Welsh or Irish, or indeed anybody else, besides maybe the Northern Irish, never have.

Anyway, Flower of Scotland is a ****ing horrible song and nothing more than the SFA anthem really. If I had to choose a Scottish song, it'd be For A' That or Scotland the Brave.
