I would advocate Latin, if offered. The main thing is that teaches precision in language (obviously very necessary when working with legal documents), and as a bonus it will mean that you aren't phased by Latin legal terms.

LSE lists the following as A-levels they would rather not see, unless in combination with more 'traditional' ones:

Accounting
Art and Design
Business Studies
Communication Studies
Dance
Design and Technology
Drama/Theatre Studies
Home Economics
Information and Communication Technology
Law
Media Studies
Sports Studies
law?! i'm confused!

You mightn't like the subject, but it's still a good A-level to have for Law.

I think they would rather teach it from scratch. It probably makes it easier if everyone comes in at the same level.

HI. I really want to study Law at Cambridge. I am doing English Lit. History, Geography, French, Modern Greek and Law at A level, plus an extra English AS. I am supposed to get A for all of them..I have an A at Greek AS. What do you think? Is my range of subjects satisfactory? Should i pick up something like Latin? Plus..do u have any suggestions for Logic exercises? My school doesnt offer anything than the 'traditional subjects.
thank u so much..all coments appreciated.
