ok i've done countless drafts, each way too long. Now I've just finished another draft and am really really pleased with it, even my teacher said it was good! only thing is, its only 2993 charatcers and 36 lines, which is way under the limit. will this hinder my overall personal statement? If I write anymore, I think I'll be talking crap!

I would think it would: that is, unless you've written everything you want. The length won't be a weakness in itself, but if you've left lots of relevant stuff out it might be advisable to add a bit more.
hmmm...i can't think of anything i've missed out, see if you can think of anything...

why i want to do the course
what i've read
work
interests
extra curricular
I wouldn't be too worried about being under the limit. If your teacher says its ok and your happy with then don't worry. Lots of ppl haven't even started theirs yet!
