Anyone had one?

If so, please describe your interviewer and what questions they asked you.

Thankyou for your time, and more importantly, your patience.

Hi, I had my interview on November 11th and recieved an offer on the same day!!! If its the same type of thing then you will get a tour of the accomodation in the morning then you will be split into two groups. The first group will wait together and you will be taken away individually to be interviewed whilst the other group get a tour of the department. After the first group have all been interview you will switch around and one gets the tour whilst the others are interviewed!!!

Some of my questions were along the lines of...

Why Comp Sci?
Why Manchester?
Why did you choose to study a humanity (History)?
What appeals to you about this course in particular?
What are your first impressions of the department?
What do you enjoy about your current subjects?

The entire thing is fairly informal (formal dress was standard though) and the people were all really nice!!! We got a demonstration of some 3rd year projects and stuff!!! If you have any more questions, please fell free to ask!!!

Thanks a lot.

What a coincidence, I do history aswell. I think you are employing some mind reading techniques on me. I advise you don't, as you may be horrified in what you will find.
