salford lads club, was a large part of morrisey's childhood, hang your head in shame.

It dosn't have any connection with the Smiths at all, they just thought it was a cool building to take a picture off, that whole place has gone way out of proportion, Morrissey didn't even live in Salford, he lived in Stretford which is not far by car but by public transport its a different city (which Salford is anyway).

I love the working class madness of Salford don't get me wrong, that area is so interesting, every where you on there is history, Peel Park for example is the first public park to opened in the country.

Its just a shame the scallies round there have ruined things.

yea, i kno one lass whose had her tyres slashed for parking on strawberry road two years in a row

I sort of see their point of view if she was parked ilegaly, however that dosn't give them the right to take the law into their own hands. On Meadow Road for example I saw students park across peoples drives, now thats just in considerate.

However my friends car was smashed up for no logical reason, she was parked legaly and she was not causing any obstruction. They just hate students and they make their feelings known.

I must stress that I haven't had any other problems on the campus and if I was walking to town from Salford I would often cut through the council estate without any problems.

to be fair ,however, i dont think folk who slash tyres are concerned with whether or not the cars parking is legal.

i know, it was the same for this lass i know, she wasnt parked outside anyones house or anything like that
and we were on that road one aft when these two in a car started shouting abuse at us calling us 'fat slags' which was quite funny cos none of us are fat, but they got out of their car an started kicking the students cars and just being total scrots and my mate ended up moving her car cos she was so intimidated by them

Were they about 11 or 12 with skin heads and tiny BMXs by any chance? It sounds very similar, when my mate drove home once they shouted fat bitch to her. They are just jealous twits who will still be signing on in 50 years time, 20 years after they come out of jail.
