I think your judgement is seen with rose tinted glasses on slightly.

I think he is proving to be an excellent player - better than Gerrard or Scholes? Don't think he is just yet + lacking same experience + Lampard is the other man for the central midfield position

Over Scholes or Gerrard there is no chance. These two are world beaters on their day. Although Gerrard has great habbit of getting injured before big games...

If he is that good i'd like to see him play in Englands next friendly.

and you may well. if you wanted to make a more informed comment you should watch him playing for Charton sometime. Sven often attends the Valley and is pleased with his performance every time

i dont know why parker reminds me of the way lLampard plays - same runs and always looking to score - possibly more skill on the ball and a better tackler but Lampard's shooting from range is far better and he tends to get into the box more - parker is more of a playmaker

OK what about if and when Scholes calls time on his England career? It would happen sooner than for Gerrard, so Parker has a better chance then, no? Would you then pick him over Lampard and Joe Cole among others?
