What month is the normal to hear from a uni?

I know it varies greatly from place to place but I was wondering when current students got their offers in from unis? I've already sent my form but I know the deadline isn't until January- does this mean I'm not likely to hear from anywhere except Cambridge until after then?
When did you recieve your first offer (or rejection :eek: ) last year?
There isn't any set months where universities will give out offers; It will differ from year to year.

Lots of people will get offers a week or two after their application is processed, lots more will have to wait a few weeks, lots more may even have to wait a few months.

Do not, however, start to panic if you haven't received any offers by christmas (for example); this is perfectly normal too!

Also it is dependent on the unis, and on the applicant. If you're way above the required grades, then you may get a quicker offer, going by people at my school.
I think I got: 1 reply in late October, 1 in November, 2 in December, 1 in January and 1 in March.

I got all my replies before Christmas. Though I sent off my form in mid-October.
Mine were reasonably spread out, but I did get quite a few before Christmas. But then I knew people who hadn't heard from any in March.
