Best A Level Physics Books

Hi,

I just need to decide which Physics book is best, I already have the AQA endorsed one and it is quite rubbish. I have been torn between two Collins book one for AQA the other is General but "better", any other book suggestions welcome too. Here are the books:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Collins-Advanced-Science-Ken-Dobson/dp/0007267495
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Accessible-Physics--level-Guided-Coursebook/dp/0333627806/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1287554243&sr=1-1

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Level-Physics-Fourth-Roger-Muncaster/dp/0748715843/ref=sr_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1287554189&sr=1-4

These 2 books are great... They will cover your core syllabus thoroughly.... The endorsed book and one or both of the above used together will bring an A in AS for sure...

'Collins Advanced Science - Physics' seems the best, I'm doing AQA Physics B and am going to buy it and learn from it rather than the school tb because the AQA endorsed version is crap.

One more thing, I have been looking through reviews and they say the non-AQA one (third edition), is very much in the IB specification, and may not be too useful for AQA A, and sorry for constant talking to myself, i just want an answer ><
Best book to get is past papers and internet!

Thanks but before attempting past papers you need the knowledge, I need a book that can thoroughly explain me each topic, kind of for self teaching .
Not OCR's its a joke.
This thread is very old, but I am wondering why poster above me says OCR A level physics is a joke, as I am supposed to be starting OCR Physics A level next year?? Also, would any of these books apply to the OCR specification?

Thanks
