Veneers

For anyone who had ever had any veneers (dental), how exactly are they fitted?
Is it all done in one visit to the dentist or does it take several visits? :confused:

I haven’t had the procedure but I’m pretty sure it two sittings, one to take a mould of your teeth and the other to fit the veneer. When they fit the veneer they basically mangle and drill your teeth (sounds worse than it is) so the veneer can grip properly than apply it tooth by tooth.

I think mine are called veneers....they were done in one sitting. They filed my teeth down and then stuck the porcelein veneers on. They're almost glued on I spose. Careful though! I was eating a humbug type sweet and it ripped one of mine off!

Yeah they work similar to a crown i think, its almost certain 1 or 2 will fall out lol. Ask the dentist for extra strong glue!(true). Be carefull aswell because they get infected well easily.
