Is this a lot of UCAS points?

are 70 UCAS points, and 45 UCAS points a lot? obviously not compared to taking a-levels but i mean non-a-level wise... so just imagine this on top of a-levels

Depends what you consider "a lot." It's more points that you'd get with an A grade at AS.

I'm guna have 700 at the end of this year, so no.

Not really. You wouldn't be able to get into university with them, and that is what UCAS points are for. If you haven't yet started your A-levels and those points are for music or something that is really good but it won't get you in anywhere on its own.

70 is more than the 60 you'd get from an A at AS, so without this even being AS or A-level then yes it's a lot

Some qualifications don't count towards tariff. My standard grades and int 2 which total more than 300 points won't count ultimately. Are you sure all yours do? :s-smilie:

Not for the whole country, but Unistats says the average acceptance to oxford is 540 points, so somewhat lower than that I would imagine?

I haven't a clue though, someone enlighten me.

If you've been told you get the 70, then you get the 70 if you go on the longer trip, usually about 30 days. The other one (45) is for the smaller trip, 10-14 days? But if you've been told you get them, then you will get them! It's in alliance with an award you can get that's similar with things like the Duke of Edinburgh
