Since saturday evening till this day forward - ive had headaches, bad cough, flemmy cough, whezzy chest, throwing up, belly aches, weakness and head aches.

Today I just had the coughs, headaches and belly aches.

Just wanted to see any 1 else going through this, as couple of people I know from the net also have similar health probs.

I've had that too, ongoing for about 2 weeks, but starting to feel better now!

Fresher Flu! Completely unavoidable. should be gone by next summer sometime

Yes, it's the much-loathed "fresher's flu"...you're bound to end up getting it at the start of at least one year while you're at university. I've managed to avoid it so far (currently in 2nd year), but I've got 3 more years to go, and I have a pretty awful immune system. Knowing my luck, I'll end up getting it in fifth year.
alas, i think im dying... my head is banging and seems to only want to produce more and more snot....on top of this my coughing is reverberating from my chest around the whole building. damn those freshers and their nasty dirty germs! at least i got to watch trisha and loose women today without feeling too guilty, however.

Meh, I do that every day...can't believe I just admitted that, but it's true. Good thing about taking very easy first-year classes is that you can actually get away with not attending lectures  Did the same thing last year - with one class, I attended lectures for it for the first two weeks then literally just got bored with it (with 10 weeks still to go)...still managed to end the course with a 17 (out of 20). The course I did worst in was actually the only class I DID attend (I got 9.7 out of 20)
bargain.
yeh ive been doing that for the last 3 years too- i just figured sometimes there wasnt any point in going to a lecture i was going to fall asleep in anyway.
im doing an MSc now so i have to be serious and mature. bugger...

I've been coughing really badly and not concentrating in anything at all (I nearly hit this other car while I was having my driving lesson yesterday - not that I've always been a good driver or anything, but still!). I managed to avoid fresher's flu last year, but not this year apparently :frown:

Yes, I'm going to blame everything on the freshers...

Lol - I've sorta had it in my first/second week of Uni, and thankfully (*touchwood*) it's gone - had stomach aches, headaches and a pretty achy soar throat.

Hope everyone with the flu atm gets well soon!!
