Wierd knee thingy

about once a fortnight, i'll just be walking along and suddenly there's a massive pop from my right knee, my leg kind of jerks, and i get a stab of pain from it which takes about 10 seconds to fully go away. it's not like the usual cracking which you get from your joints, eg knuckles, it's a lot more painful than that. I thought maybe it was momenterally dislocating? i just wanted to know if anyone knows what it is and whether i should worry about it. thanks

I wouldn’t, you will be growing A LOT at the moment so its probably just your body setting down after that latest spurt, I has a lot of stuff like this (though not the same) a year or two ago and I'm 6'2.5" so just take it as a good sign, but if it goes on for a few months, hurts really badly or you are getting worried its best to see a Dr.

Don't know what it is exactly, but it happens to me all the time and I'm pretty sure it's nothing to worry about.
I used to get that when I was 15, all part of growing up
