Jam contains a high concentration of sugae. Why does bacteria that causes decay does not grow in jam?
So why does bacteria not grow in a place with high concentrations of sugar?
Thank you!

Hi..how're you?

Well to be honest, I didnt know the answer to ur query; i googled
The reason why bacteria doesnt grow in high concentration of sugar is coz of sugar's osmotic effects...The
sugar dehydrates microorganisms and they can't grow

Hope that helps & good luck
